A majority of the high speed handpieces that we receive at our facility have ceased to function properly due to bearing failure. In these instances, the chucking mechanism is functioning properly and our turbine rebuild would offer an economical alternative to replacing the entire turbine  every time as OEM and many others routinely do. Because these small but critical components have to withstand incredible rotational speeds and forces (a turbine rotating at 400,000 RPMs equals over 6,600 times per second!), we only use ceramic bearings.

  down and shed debris causing friction, as steel does.
• Ceramic balls conduct less heat than steel and won’t
  become excessively hot during the autoclave process and
  become distorted, as steel does.

  smoother, resulting in quieter operation and increased
  durability.
