1:5 Electric Attachment Repair Services

Level 1:

Replace Bearings on the Head Cartridge and the Bearings on the Driveshaft. This service is available if the chuck is functioning properly and if the various gears are not found to be too worn for continued service. The remaining components are inspected, cleaned, lubricated, and reused.

Level 2:

Replace Head Cartridge and replace Bearings on the Driveshaft. This service is indicated if the chucking mechanism failed or if there is too much damage to the spindle gear on the Head Cartridge. The remaining components are inspected, cleaned, lubricated, and reused.

Level 3:

Replace Head Cartridge and Driveshaft. This service is indicated when the chucking mechanism has failed or there is too much damage to the spindle gear on the Head cartridge. This is also indicated when the Driveshaft bearings and gears are too worn for continued service. The remaining components are inspected, cleaned, lubricated, and reused.

Level 4:

Replace the Head Cartridge, Driveshaft, and Drive Axle. This service includes everything listed in the Level 3 service but includes a new Drive Axle due to failed bearings. The remaining components are inspected, cleaned, lubricated, and reused.
